Uniontown School Pond
Located on the Uniontown School grounds in Uniontown. Administered by the City of Uniontown. Managed by Kansas Department of Wildlife,Parks and Tourism. This pond project was part of the hiking/walking trail developed for the district by Don George. The entire project was funded with funds from the National Trails Grant and Community Lake Assistance Project Grants. This pond is open to public fishing and is utilized by the school as a living classroom. It is annually stocked with channel catfish by the Dept.
