Perry State Park was made possible by the signing of a lease agreement in 1968 between the Kansas Parks and Resources and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Extensively forested rolling hills offer shaded camping at Perry Lake. 25 miles of horse trails and 20 miles of biking/hiking trails wind through the upland forest providing visitors a great outdoor experience. Lake Perry also offers excellent channel catfish fishing on 11,000 acres of Perry Reservoir.
Perry State Park is located in the southwest portion of Perry Reservoir , four miles north of highway 24 on Highway 237. The park features a sand beach, five shower buildings, two boat ramps, picnic areas, and trails for horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking. There are four utility campgrounds, totaling 102 sites with electricity and water hookups, and seven primitive campgrounds with over 200 sites. All of our campsites are first come, first serve.
Our cabins opened on April 3rd for the 2011 camping season. Reservations can be made on-line on our website http://reserve.ksoutdoors.com or by calling the park office. You can make reservations for our cabins one year in advance.
