$12.00 city fee required. Shawnee Parks and Recreation will sponsor the Kansas Hunter Education Course at the Shawnee Civic Centre. In order to be admitted to the class, participants MUST complete online requirement prior to the first class – participants who do not complete the study questions will not be allowed to attend class and will not receive a certificate. Students must complete the online portion of the course prior to attending the field day. Students must pre-register for the course in order to get directions to complete the online portion of the certification. Each student will be issued a pre-test over the online materials.All students will be tested over the Internet course material. This pre-test will be administered at the beginning of the Class. A passing score of 22 correct answers out of 25 questions is required to proceed with the rest of the course. Students failing to achieve the minimum score of 22 will be dismissed from the class.
