REGULAR DUCK SEASON IS CLOSED!!! Results from November 5 thru January 29 are as follows: 3860 hunters, harvested 6244 ducks for a 1.6 BPH average. This preliminary harvest info ranks us at 11th for both harvest and BPH totals for the 51 year history of the area. All in all it was a really good duck season but also a frusterating year with the weather conditions that we had in both the summer and winter months however it could have been a lot worse. Staff has already began preparing for next year with projects, planting and management issues being addressed.
