Largemouth bass	Fair-Good	1-5 lbs	Spinnerbaits or crankbaits along weedlines or rocky structure
Wipers	Fair		mostly on liver, can be caught using various shad imitating lures
channel catfish	Good	1/2-15 lbs	shad sides and other prepared bait. Many nice catfish were seen up shallow during electrofishing.
Walleye	Fair	1-6 pounds	Some fish have been caught shallow on crappie jigs.
crappie	Good	1/2-2 lbs.	warming water temps. should bring the crappie into shallower waters. Try jigs under a bobber along the dam and piers.
General Comments
The city of Yates Center has signed up for the CFAP program. A city permit is no longer required. The lake is full and the water temp is in the upper 60s. STOP AQUATIC HITCHHIKERS!
