Pond is open to public fishing. This lake is enrolled into the Community Fisheries Assistance Program. A city fishing permit is no longer required. Currently fishing is good with nice channel catfish caught daily. This pond is annually stocked with channel catfish by Wildlife and Parks. This pond also produces many largemouth bass, bluegill and redear sunfish. A boatramp is not provided and boat use is limited to small craft or hand launch boats only. Area caretakers feed the channel catfish daily which improves growth and angling success.
