Wichita - Cruiser (K-96) Lake

From I-135: Take the K-96 Exit to Hillside, exit onto Hillside and go south. Take the first right turn and follow that road to the west, past the Murfin Animal Campus.

Boating: Carry-in craft, such as canoes, kayaks, and float tubes are allowed on this lake, but the gate to the boat ramp is locked and closed to public use.

Adult Channel Catfish will be stocked monthly from April - September. The stocking dates are planned for: April 11, May 9, June 6, Jly 11, August 8 and September 12, 2013.

Bluegill

Good

up to 10"

Bluegill and other sunfish should be easily caught using a small hook and a bit of worm or night crawler. Try poppers or small spinners, or even flies.
