On Wednesday June 12, 2013 the Bureau of Reclamation announced that fireworks will no longer be allowed on lands or waters owned by the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR regulation 43 CFR 423.30 C) due to liability issues. Therefore, the shooting of personal fireworks within Lovewell State Park (including Pioneer Day Use Area), Lovewell Wildlife Area, Twin Coves Private Trailer area and Lovewell Private Cabin area is strictly prohibited. Persons discharging fireworks within these areas will be subject to penalties.
