This lake is enrolled into the Community Fisheries Assistance Program. A city fishing permit is no longer required. This lake is annually stocked with channel catfish by Wildlife and Parks. The City hand feeds this lakes to enhance the fishery. Shoreline access is good along the south and east sides of the lake. This lake receives annual channel catfish stocking to maintain great fishing opportunities.
